the toilet paper survey

how many squares of toilet paper per wipe +6 The average person uses about 4 to 9 sheets per wipe. However, the exact amount depends on your personal preference, the number of plies, and the consistency of the mess.2-Ply or Thicker: 2 to 4 sheets per wipe are generally sufficient because the paper is thick enough to prevent tearing.1-Ply: 4 to 6 sheets are often required, as you need to fold or stack them to create enough thickness.Diarrhea or Periods: You may need to use 6 or more sheets per wipe to account for increased absorption and prevent the paper from tearing.Users across online forums (such as Reddit) heavily debate the exact number, with some "scrunchers" using a large handful and "folders" sticking to a strict 2 to 3-square maximum per pass to conserve.Pro-Tip: If you are trying to cut down on toilet paper usage, consider installing a bidet or using wet wipes, which significantly reduce the amount of dry paper required.

I use5-6 sheets.

Wet wipes should not be flushed. They don`t break down as advertised.

The recommendation given never had to deal with water use issues like in a desert. Or using a well. Or even having to deal with a septic tanks.

I don't know for sure, but I think I use 20 or 30 sheets just to get it down to the log I'm sitting on... does that count?
