The Umbrella Incident

It was during my college days. i had crush on this girl who always sat next to me in class. One day, during a rainy day after classes were over and i was walking with my friends, trying to avoid the rain. But my crush was standing under the same tree where I was heading. She was alone, looking around anxiously. I slowed down, not wanting to approach her, but then I saw her shivering. She didn't have an umbrella. Without thinking, I took off my jacket and put it around her shoulders. She looked up at me, surprised and grateful. We stood there for a moment, under the tree, the rain pouring down around us.
