My wretched back. Good days and bad days...
pennynoodles · 56-60, F
@Ironicman Too many cartwheels in your younger years?
Ironicman · 56-60, M
Yeah and the rest, skateboarding wipe outs, British bull dog, track biking, scrumping, falling out of trees, oh and sitting on my backside in various office jobs over the last 30 years. That's what's done it.
pennynoodles · 56-60, F
@Ironicman Apart from the office job and track biking, we could've been twins.

Oh man, where did you skate board? I was a real fan in late 70s early 80s. I had an alpine sports deck with Californian slalom trucks and kryptonic wheels (lime green) Skateboarded at skate city near HMS Belfast, Crystal Palace, Southbank...I've kept my board to this day. So many good memories. Every time my back hurts I just remind myself I bloody enjoyed my childhood. Lol X

I just used to skateboard in the street, bright yellow it was. I was quite the Tomboy back then
Ironicman · 56-60, M
A cool girl skate boarder. I bet you were into CB radio a few years later. 1 - 4 for a copy?
pennynoodles · 56-60, F
Ha ha ha, I wished I had one....never did though.
Ironicman · 56-60, M
Ah, you missed out there. God did we have some fun talking over the waves before mobile phones. You're my age or just a bit younger. Best years to have been a teenager in the 80s hey?
pennynoodles · 56-60, F
@Ironicman I'm prob older, I'm right up there at the cut off point. Already had the big five o.
Loved the 80s music, still do.
Ironicman · 56-60, M
You're the same age as me I suspect? I was built in 66. Was you Tis Was or Swap Shop. I was Swap Shop mainly coz we had one TV and my mum fancied Noel Edmonds.
pennynoodles · 56-60, F
@Ironicman Manufactured in 66 but the release date was early '67. I was Swap Shop, I always wanted what they had. My mum wouldn't let us watch Tiswas, not because she fancied him though. ....she just didn't approve of it.

Here's some nostalgia for you. Schoolboy crush on this fine young lady being interviewed. Looking back now, what a sweet lady.

@Ironicman Aw, what a sweet young thing she was and pretty too. I can see why you would be attracted to her.
