Why is it when i go to Subway...
They have to squeeze my sandwich so tight when they roll it in the wrapper like they are wringing out a wet towel?

It keeps it from falling apart until you get it home and unwrap it, and then it falls apart. I have no complaints, there is a young woman at my local Subway who makes the best sandwiches, I think she puts about twice as much stuff on it as she is supposed to, and she knows I tip well and always give her a good review (for my free cookie!).
