In my living room right now are:
My mother.
My former girlfriends mother (of nearly 34 years ago !) and her partner.

I'd go out but we have a storm here right now !

Occasionally they write to each other. My mother can go six, eight months and not hear a word. Then there's a flurry of letters for a while.
this morning. Whilst i was out. She telephoned that she was in the area and could they meet up.....ugh!
