I just arrived at the bus stop, to the end of an argument between a teenager & who I assume is her mother

To which she just yelled "well, at least I don't have nicotine fingers & bad hair!"

Silence descended

I'm now standing as far away as I could get, & I'm afraid to look back.

Kids are way to brave now days. I would never of dreamed of speaking like that to my mom. I knew better.

@Mrpauldavies: true but I doubt it. If a teenager thinks she can speak that way to her mom I doubt there has been much discipline in her life.
