I think it's got a lot to do with the complete detachment that goes with online so called 'friendships'. They're missing all the personal interactions that take place unconciously between two people in a real life meeting. There appears little or no obligation to consider another's feelings, or even genuinely acknowledge that someone might even have any!
It's why you shouldn't be taking on line friendships too seriously. Online sites such as this are probably more about venting frustrations than any real desire to aquire friendship.

no im talking about dating sites and meeting people there and don't tell me theyre bullshit cause ive met people from them but I know what you mean talking to someone in person they can get the real you which is better if you talk online with them things can be confused or mixed messages cause its just words on a screen in person its body language and shit

@coolboy86: I think that's pretty much what I said. Meeting personally is the only way to get to know someone. After that, if they drop off the radar, then they're not for you, end of story.

in person they could touch you look in your eyes get a sense of who you are online they could just get up and do something or if theyre on their iphone just say ''later I gotta do shit'' and that's that

@coolboy86: To add to the previous - I come in here because it's a lot more entertaining than the TV or newspaper, and quite frankly, the TV commercials, are often a lot cleverer than the programs! (lol)

its just people really don't care about peoples feelings if im mean im sarcastic but these people really mean it like after getting along with me just tell me if your busy whatever but like don't just not message me for like two days its like rude

@coolboy86: Well yes, but it's they way they view other people, almost as if you are an object. It's the selfish side of human nature showing itself, and such people deserve to lose your company.
