Have you ever been in this situation?

Someone says something horribly incorrect as if it's a fact, and when you try to correct them, they completely blow up? How did/would you react?

(I'm not talking about the other person getting annoyed. That's fairly normal. I'm talking like, straight-up name calling and stuff like that.)
