Lately, it seems that teachers job is to embarrass you in front of people.

I attended a class with my friend yesterday, and her teacher told us what we thought about celebrity and give a list of famous and very well known celebrities who had difficulties dealing with their celebrity.
And me and my friend are shit at famous new stars, specially concerning music as we only listens to alternative rock from 95 to 2007. We really don't know much about the latest music trends or songs.
So when she was passing by us, she noticed that we wrote very little names, she asked us about it and we told her we were into kinda old things. And she was like:

'' OMG you don't know Tupac ? How is it even possible ? Don't you watch MTV ? Don't tell me you don't know about Paris Hilton ! I feel like you came from Mars or Jupiter. Turns out there people who are worse than me, Omg. ''

And she made us look like uncultivated people who never went to school and can't read a sentence correctly. Worse was that even the students started looking at us the same way as her.

We told here that we weren't into that, and we were into books reading, video games, manga, writing, rock...Etc but she still viewed us as weird people XD

Aren't we allowed to have different tastes and hobbies ?
