So I finally get a new job, but I also get a new gig and have to maintain my current job at the same time AND the new job is getting difficult. Wth?

They (new job) want me to go to their home base (almost two hours from where I actually work) to complete my training. They can work around the gig and my current job, but they haven't even locked down my pay or my pay schedule. I didn't think this was going to be so difficult.
