I'm sure it's backed up a few cases but things are getting done. I happen to know a couple farmers that pay very well and everyone working is documented so from where I stand this makes sense and the guys complain illegal workers are the biggest competitors on other farms that dont quite follow the hiring laws.

And there is a backlog. Pretending otherwise just makes you dishonest. And the vary same farmers are saying 50% of their workforce is undocumented.

Pretending processing the paperwork of thousands of people within weeks is simple or even possible makes you dishonest or frankly an idiot. It defies basic logic.

And also about 50% of all "illegals" in the US are people who have come to the country legally with a visa but have overstayed their visa or haven't filed the paperwork to extend it.

So again people who are illegal based exclusively on paperwork.
