@Willomk1 im so sorry - but this I feel is disassociated ableism . Would you encourage someone to cut themselves ? Would you encourage an alcoholic to drink?
Overeating is the slowest and most painful suicide ever. It inflames the entire body to the point of brain degradation, heart failure, arthritis, immune failure - sickness till an early death.
@Willomk1 yes, yes , i get that . You sorta covered that previously. I supposed what I'm asking is , why is it that, specifically ? I mean , if you really like helping someone you love, wouldnt that mean things like helping them with more fundamental aspects like goals? Health? Emotional Needs? Support ? Sense of well being and meaningfulness ?
I guess what I'm saying is - why do you feel they need help eating? It's a basic skill learnt by the age of roughly 2 and a half to 3 years old.
I'm very confused by the motivation behind this desire - I truly don't understand .
@Willomk1 oh I truly get that food can seem like happiness - it can be definitely endorphin producing . But you say you like caring for them. So what does that entail ?
@OogieBoogie It brings in good money so as I only need to work part time ( to help a good friend ). I have had 2 offers to take over restaurants that closed in Covid times.
