@HowIMetYourMother: Yes, a lot of people would agree (like I said, Trump was [i]one[/i] of them until the EC worked to his advantage). I live in California, where Hillary won 61% of the popular vote (85% in my county alone), and as a result won all 55 of the electoral votes here. Most of the states (except for Maine and Nevada, I believe) have a "winner take all" policy---if you win the majority of the popular votes you win all of the electoral votes.
