Other than being ill, what's the longest you've laid in bed for?

I've been here for 11 hours so far and are happy as I hardly ever get the chance to spend so long in bed.

I don’t lay up in bed unless I’m sick, feel like I’m coming down with something or stayed up all night. I can’t sleep for 11 hours and not have my sinuses backed up, I’ll feel groggy-headed all day long if I do. About 9 hours is max for me and that’s only in the winter when it’s so cold I don’t want to get out of bed.

Sometimes, you just need to recharge.

I very nearly completely misread what that was about.... ahem!

When I'm ill with my vertigo attacks I can spend all day in bed.

Not being ill - I really have no idea but with my wife around not that long she isn't one for laying in bed once she is awake she is up and so must everyone else be!

I know that feeling. When I was a teenager I would sleep up to 12-13 hours in summer. Lolz. Nowadays I can't stay in bed more than 9-10 hours even if I tried.

@SW-User I've been doing a mix of early and late shifts and although I'm not sleeping all the time, it's nice to be relaxing too.

@Rhonda Yeah. It's understandable if you're really exhausted.

15 hours. During colleges years where I used stay up the whole night studying. The weekend after the exams I would just knock out
