@HootyTheNightOwl yeah right now its easier entry to europe from places like brazil or ethiopia... because those countries were able to form treaties with the EU unlike some island nation that now has a de facto border inside their own country
@Strawberrry I said all along that Brexit would do more harm than it would do good - not least because of immigration queues - but because of the loss of the European Court of Human Rights and it's influence on things like our benefit system.
The EU were the most outspoken about the fact that Universal Credit, as it is, is inhumane in the way that it strips people of the means to ensure that they have the means to as much as even a basic standard of living.
Denying people access to food isn't going to "incentivise them to look for work" as much as it's going to result in them starving to death over the longer term.
