Sure I have, how else would they get the bugs out of the holes they peck?

@Dolimyte its rather ingenious... they user the tongue for the bugs and while they do their pecking the tongue serves as a cushion for the brain

@AngelofFail very cool. If you find that interesting, you may like this as well. Hummingbirds have a holding spot for nectar between there wings before it goes into their stomach. The motion of the fluid helps to stabilize their head while they feed.
