would you see it differently if it were required to wear a hazmat suit?
bijouxbroussard · F
@marybmom Some people are reacting as if this is what’s being required.
marybmom · 41-45, F
@bijouxbroussard i am asking if it would change the conversation if it was
latinbutterfly · F
@marybmom That would be going overboard, yes.
marybmom · 41-45, F
@latinbutterfly ok so where is the line of acceptable and overboard
latinbutterfly · F
@marybmom Maybe being forced to wear a mask at all times including at home, and having cameras being placed in your home by law enforcement to make sure people do it?
marybmom · 41-45, F
@latinbutterfly i would say that the line between acceptable and overboard is as subjective as if masks help or not
latinbutterfly · F
@marybmom Okay. So I don't well where you live, but over here in the winter time for example it's very cold and snowy, and people bundle up in two or more layers because of that. Maybe that's why wearing a little mask that covers half of your face it's not really a big deal to me 😅, if you get what I am saying.
marybmom · 41-45, F
@latinbutterfly oh i understand it is just that there are not 2 so called experts that agree on any of this here where i live there have been a very very small number of cases and maybe 1 in 30 wear a mask i did read where the cdc suggested masks and i found the exceptions funny because if you are a person of color and feel you will be racially discriminated against you do not need to wear one
bijouxbroussard · F
Is that right ? I never got that memo, did you l.b. ? 😃
latinbutterfly · F
@bijouxbroussard Nope, I sure didn't 🤷🏻♀️.
@marybmom Clearly not the point.
