Ever drive on the road and see a badly smoking car?

It reminds me of the times I had the same problem and I say "that was me at one time!"

YES! I pulled over and took the lid off my radiator, all the hot water boiled up over my hand and arm. I shouldn't have done that?! Some of us learn the hard way. :o

@sweetpea: I do wish they would mark that better because it is possible to unscrew radiators by hand even when that are very hot.
You were stuck using the opposite hand?
That would be so hard if you never did that before.
I broke my left hand while being left handed when I was in 2nd grade. They tried to get me to switch hands that I wrote with really hard. Back then they thought writing left handed was a behavioral flaw! 😂

@sweetpea: people hated left-handers then, imagine that! I do think it is just one small example in the US how dumb thinking can get.
It is possible to get beyond because few people judge on what hand you use now. This was back in 1968 in the US!

@Pfuzylogic: Oh, I know?! Really stupid thinking! I lived in NC back then, people are shocked to know I went to a segregated school! YES, they were still doing that in the 60's, don't know when it really ended as we left the state. I was a navy brat.

@sweetpea: Very cool, I'm a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer. I hate when segregation is used to make education unequal. That has come back now. There are 6000 education institutions that are segregated but not equally funded. People have lost the concept of Public Education and try to be sneaky about defunding it.

@Pfuzylogic: My dad flew planes for the Navy. He bought 2 small planes when he retired. He took me flying over Catalina in CA back in the late 70's. It was so beautiful flying over the ocean like that. I don't know that much about my dad. I've only seen him a handful of times.
