Doctors and nurses need more PPE to protect themselves from getting infected, but ALSO..
to reduce the human to human emotional transmission within the doctor patient relationship.
They NEED us to be "nothing more than germs in a petri dish behind the looking glass" in order for scientific analysis to not get muddled or entangled in human emotion. The goal, I think, would be to remove all subjectivity from medicine.
