What's a common word/saying/phrase that was used back in your day?
I remember the word "swole" being used for being buff or having muscles. Funny word, lol 😅.

"You know." My mom had the habit of using this on the phone constantly. Like, once, I heard her say to the person on the other end, "...so, I went to check out the meat...two-thirds fat, and one-third meat..so I said, 'The hell with that', you know."
Once,my brother and I stood in front of her when she was on the phone... and listened to her conversation. Everytime she said, "You know" we would hold up a finger.When she hung up - we had counted seven times - all she said was, "Well, I am not as bad as Linda (my older sister). She says, 'You know what I mean? You know what I mean?'"
