@jveryoral: I wouldn't say the word for the smell was "incredible"....if I was to make a house in the country and have it off-grid I'd build a super-pimped out outhouse and find a way to take care of that odor before it had a chance to waft out and smell up the area...pour slacked lime down in it on a regular basis for one thing, and maybe a solar-powered air cleaner? I don't know.
