What did you do or say that got you kicked out of a place?

I told a bad a joke after a bible study ( in church) when I was 17. I still think the joke wasn't too bad lol

The only time in my life I was ever kicked out of anyplace was when I was four, visiting family down South, got away from the cousins who were supposed to be watching me, and wandered into a segregated store. The people yelled at me like I was a rat or something, and the security guard picked me up bodily and tossed me out on the sidewalk. I remember that so vividly, and I scraped my leg when I landed.

@bijouxbroussard At 4? That's mean :(
@suchaslife Sure, they didn’t care.
Nothing like that should ever happen to anybody, much less a 4 year old child. @bijouxbroussard
@Mamapolo2016 My cousins told me years later that they got into trouble with our grandmother for letting me wander off, because had I disappeared the local police would probably not have bothered looking for me. That info was unnerving.

@bijouxbroussard Wow...Sounds like is tough where you live
@suchaslife I didn’t live there, I was just visiting. But it’s largely why my parents left the South.

@bijouxbroussard Excuse my ignorance but what do you mean south? Where?
@suchaslife The American South, sorry. Louisiana, specifically. Some areas were still segregated in the early 60s.

@bijouxbroussard Right...Sad
