@Wol62 Speaking AS a fatty, who is morbidly obese (according to my BMI), I can safely say I have never felt better in body OR mind than when I have shed some weight, and I suspect the same can be said for most people. Why do I try and lose that weight? So I look and feel better...

Yes, I do realise that some people end up with anorexia, but I suspect that those folks would develop some sort of obsessive compulsion about something regardless of their physical state.
