Imagine something you are truly passionate about (and if you have nothing, I pity you). And no matter how passionate you are about this thing, imagine it becoming your whole world, part of every aspect of your life.
Now, imagine with all the love you have for this thing, you encounter people who openly and constantly make fun of it and you for loving it. You deal with people seeking to destroy it or get it banned.
To me, that is why some religious people get triggered.

@PrivateHell Religion is quite good at"destroying", "banning" and putting down people it stigmatizes as outsiders.
It's not just about love in general, it's love for a simplified , dualistic, representation of life, and therefore a special repressive social order that maintains that flawed and primitive representation of life.
