What trivial things do couples tend to squabble about?

What to watch on TV.

Dirty socks on the floor.

Leaving the toilet seat up! 🙃

My wife likes to tell me what a "sty" the house is. I calmly pile up the four books, 6 magazines, 3 glasses, and 2 dirty dishes, and her 3 pairs of socks. I then say, "okay, the house is clean".

And that's when the fight started.

Here's a few ideas:
My husband loves to hand his clothes on the outside of the wardrobe. 🙄

He'll hang a soaking wet towel back up and not put it in the laundry or get a fresh one for me, apparently that's my job.

For some reason he takes off one sock and throws it on the sitting room floor, every day/night I have to bring it to the laundry bin.

FYI;Actually I don't argue about these things at all anymore as it's pointless.

With us, he’s a slob. I’m ashamed to have people over. he thinks the mess will clean itself and if it doesn’t he doesn’t even care. I have to clean up after him like a child because he doesn’t ever put ANYTHING back. it’s constant and annoying af.

My boyfriend and I don't argue. But, in the past, men seemed to have issues with jealousy due to insecurity and I see this common theme with other couples. So, I would have to say, couples commonly squabble due to jealousy issues.

We tend to squabble about variances in things we agree on. Like the Jeopardy dude, in which I stated his money management was making the diff, and she insisted it had more to do with his knowledge.

No idea , I guess most would say who’s putting out the rubbish or something
