Do you think some members here might be many years younger than their age range?
I mean, some certainly don't act like they are in their 40's or 50's, lol.

I have lived through events ,that frankly you haven't
The language we speak is not the same ,we have become more settled ,our views on what makes someone successful are not the same ,many things you just don't know how to fake for lack of a better word ,,
I have a memory thats a curse ,,if I speak with you enough
I can pretty well judge your age group ,,
and one of the dead give aways a younger person is not an older age they post ,,
Is when they keep saying "You assume to much "and their youthful arrogance ,,like you are so much wiser then you are.
Wisdom comes with age ,,we have done our own screwing up and learned from mistakes young people can't even imagine ,,I was the same way ,my kids were ,its just a part of growing up ,and if you want people to respect you ,you have to mature as well .You can be the class clown your whole life ,,but those who can open doors for you .may not ,you have not matured .
I can read the post ,I am not assuming anything
I am going on other conversations ,the the way something is worded sometimes dates us ,
We were not so hung up on titles and boxes back in our day
Younger people seem to have a label and box for everything
and then accuse "US" of trying to put them in one ,

You can read about the assassination of JFK ,or his brother ,or Dr King ,,,we lived through it ,,seen the effects it had on everyone we loved ,and our nation
I was a hippy ,and I have a lot more experience since then
We were not as cool as were assumed we were either ,,some of our kids paid the price .
Somethings you can learn in college ,,you have to live it
