Teacher called me out on picking my nose in front of all the other kids. She said I was a nasty little girl. I was in the first grade.

Three classmates thought it would be funny to beat me up and tie me in duct tape to a tree. Most of the school watched as a couple teachers helped get me out. Went home after that.

I was picked to read aloud to the class in English literature and pronounced Socrates as So-crates.The class exploded in laughter.😒

What I still regard as the most embarrassing experience of my life [to date] was the medical I had when I started Grammar School aged 11. Parents were invited, but very few bothered to attend - except my mother. The doctor was a female - quite rare in the early 1960s - and, incidentally, the mother of one of my classmates. I was stripped to my Y-fronts for most of the examination..... until the fateful moment….. I can't remember, in retrospect, whether it was she (the doctor) who pulled my underpants down or instructed me to… What I do remember is blushing fit to burn because when I was revealed in all my glory I was sporting a stonking erection - even before the doctor began to palpate my scrotum (I was a bit of a late developer) - as she and my mother blithely talked about adolescent boys, puberty, and awkwardness over nudity.

That was the last time my mother ever saw me naked!

Middle school, developing before most of my classmates. I left 7th grade a child and returned for 8th grade a woman, 5 inches taller, 34-22-34.
