My heart and lungs are very healthy which indicates that I could easily live into my 90s, that is the "good news". The bad news is that I will be (most likely) totally paralyzed from accumulated spinal damage within a few more years. I can expect to spend 30+ years confined to a bed with no family or friends.

@Anonymartyr That seems very sad to me.

@Anonymartyr oh sorry
@SweetMae @SW-User A bitter and cruel irony. As best I can I try to get out and make friends but people are too insecure when it comes to the visibly disabled and "friends" always exclude me when going out. I know people mean well when they say : I am sure you will meet someone" but what they are really saying is : " I wish you well, and hope you find someone, but You will hinder my chances of getting laid- cripples aren't cool and not good for my image"

@Anonymartyr It takes a very special person to take on another's disability. I hope you can find a friend that won't exclude you when they are going out.
@SweetMae I hardly get out any more, particularly since I have no transportation other than my walker on foot. And no matter the method, meeting anybody has become too expensive for me.
