@pennynoodles My Brother and I were just discussing how happy I am my son gave up his teddy ,his son 12 still sleeps with his ,but the boy has been through a lot ,😢
Sometimes I will use teddy for a neck prop ,but for the most part he just sits there on the lounge ,
He was given to my son when he almost died by a lady who's Granddaughter was in the next bed needing a liver transplant ,
Had my son not had surgery right away ,he would have died (don't ask me to spell the condition he had ,but his intestines were blocked )
So even though teddy is a reminder of when I almost lost my boy
I am grateful he has out grown him
It shows my son has matured enough to take on the dark and a lot harder things in life ,,and he don't need teddy to do it
He has God and me ,he no longer needs teddy
My nephew ,,he is still afraid of the dark ,and his Mom is his Saviour
She likes it that way
My brother was saying there is no harm in his son still needing teddy
its no different than me cuddling a pillow
I have a bad back and I will pile all these pillows any way I can to get comfortable ,and hug one
But I don't need a pillow to sleep in the dark ,nor does my son
His does
And my son has been through far worse things ,but then again
I never taught my kid teddy would save him
I taught mine to say his prayers ,and Christ is always there
Some would say I taught mine to trust a fairy tale too
I know who saved my son ,and healed my daughter ,and kept my oldest from being killed in a wreck ,and just gave me a granddaughter ,to a Mom with a collapsed womb ,,Who knows ,maybe it is a fairy tale to some ,we call it faith .
People can believe what they want ,teddy is not able to do all that
Christ is
But teddy is there on the lounge ,,to remind us ,,He was comfort to my son during very scary times ,,but he is not my sons Saviour ,Christ is
And we thank Him every night ,,just before my son says
"Dad ,could you please turn off the light "
He has never needed a night light either

@pennynoodles one of my brother heard a judge say 30 yrs ,
and suddenly new evidence was found ,his case over turned and he was convicted of a felony ,,but 9 months he sat in jail turned into time served ,
The other was accused of molesting his kid ,,
Except he was with me ,and his kid was with mine
My word and my credibility set him free ,
as soon as his daughter seen me ,,she said she was made to say those things
and she recanted her story ,,,but the state wanted to proceed with his trial
The judge told him he needs to follow in my footsteps ,,,my testimony was setting him free (even though his daughter admitted she lied for attention ,,
Years later ,,his step daughter tries the same thing
My brother is a drug addict as was I before God healed me ,,he is not a child molester ,,,but once you have been accused ,,DCF is always to happy to take your kids and put you through years of court and hell ,,,but once again he is free ,,,and another daughter admitted she lied
They know I love them ,,I would kill my brother myself if I thought he was guilty
But as soon as they see me ,,,they go to telling the truth ,,and HRS has tried to take my kids too (they love wrecking homes )
But this one finally admitted she made it all up to get him away from her Mom and out of his own home ,,
She is grown still living with Mom ,acting like teenager when she is 30 with 4 kids ,no husband ,but she finally admitted she lied ,,she is a very vindictive little witch ,,
The Judge told her to get out (with her 4 kids )
And my brother is back home ,,,He knows now who has saved him ,,twice
He is a non working drug addict ,,,He is not a child molester
and the kids can't make themselves lie to me ,,wonder why that is ?
could it be the same anointing that healed me from a life time of drug addictions still abides in me ?
All I know is my brother was facing prison twice ,,,and the truth set him free
He did not want Bubba sleeping on his pillow and I don't blame him
