They say that 1000 'nos' and one 'yes' is still a 'yes', BUT...

...I'm not the kind of guy who can deal with being rejected 999 times plus one more before that point.

My name isn't Sam-I-Am!

Been where you are man, we all have. Girls are easy: flowers, chocolate, show up when you're supposed to. The key thing is not to be there all the time. Valentine's Day, her birthday, Christmas, special occasions are when you can spoil her a bit. Then just be like "Hey, I'm gonna be in town next week. Did you wanna grab dinner?" Something like that anyway.

It's okay to obsess a little, but you gotta let her play you a little bit because she needs some control. The right girl won't be as controlling as some of these other girls you have been running into.

@GohantheThird It's not that the other girls I've been running into have been overly-controlling, it's that they act like their intelligence has been insulted if a guy who looks like a twig (the category I fall into) should even THINK approaching them.
@SubZeroSlays808 I used to be a twig too, hell my ex married a 6'2" twig. Nothing to stress about. Maybe eat more and hit the gym.

@GohantheThird Why should I have to change my appearance just for them? If I'm happy with how I look, then what's the point of changing it at all?
@SubZeroSlays808 hey man, you wanna date ya gotta work for it. Just a bit though ;)

@GohantheThird Well, as far as money goes, that's true. However, the notion that I should have to change my appearance to be more appealing to the person I'm supposed to be with (if there is a right person out there for me) I don't agree with at all.
@SubZeroSlays808 there is a right person for everyone (or so I'm told) so don't stress too much.
