When would, 'not having a sense of smell', be useful?

I have often thought that about people that work in a fish and chip shop. The smell must linger. @NeloAngelo

@pennynoodles no i dont mean fish and chip shop, i mean the people who have to gut the fish, remove the head all the grisly bits :(

@NeloAngelo Oh, yeah ! Two of my uncles were professional fishermen, and much as I loved them I wouldn’t let them hug me until they’d bathed when I used to visit as a kid.

I once knew a pig farmer......you could smell him before you saw him. @bijouxbroussard
