@SapphicHeart Excellent watch... on both questions she covered and to point. My father wasn't alive when I came out. I often think of what he would have thought... and hope that he wouldn't disown me. (Happened with another family member in a devout Italian Catholic family.) My sister cried. My mom told me it was a phase and I hadn't met the right man yet. My sister said she was going to church every week to try to gain understanding. I told her to go to a PFLAG meeting or office. She had no idea what I was talking about. In time, she came around. In time, my mom thought I still hadn't found the right guy. (sigh) But it was great cause and timing for me to question her about a woman my mom spent a lot of time around... wow, what a conversation that sparked. 😨
