hormonal imbalance. you need to have your levels taken. most likely, you'll be offered birth control pills. do you have other symptoms? uterine or breast pain? is it heavy with clotting? sorry to be so graphic. could be estrogen dominance due to progesterone deficiency. when this happened to me, i used bio-identical progesterone cream days 15 through 28. it worked very well, but it took a couple of cycles to even everything out. i didn't want to take synthetic hormones.
