Did you guys know this?

So my coworker who is black had her baby this morning...her husband is white. She sent pictures and I blurted out "the baby looks white!". I guess they take a few days to darken... how am I supposed to know these things? 😅

I didn't know that until I worked in the NICU and my black co-worker friends filled me in. I was told to look at the babies ears and that was a good indication of how dark the baby would be.
