What would you refuse to travel in? (be creative)

yep, that's it - although it's improved with the competition but I have a good memory and will always take uber now. They get me there just as quick and much cheaper.

@SW-User I'm talking 15 years ago and to be honest getting south of the river was a nightmare. Now with uber, night tubes it's tough for black cabbies but I think they could have done a little more to modernise now the monopoly has gone. I must say I love the character they bring but because of their pricing they are a luxury for me.

The little shop owners must feel the same about the supermarkets taking over their business. If we don't use them, we will lose them.....great shame.

I believe that there is room for any enterprise. We all use supermarkets but are still free to use independent corner shops if we need to or want to. Choice is important.

Yes it is but with rising prices, I have seen the decline in the smaller shops in town centres. I am guilty myself of getting everything under one roof in the supermarket, simply because of ease and price. I do try to use my local store and I have to say, they are always very busy. @SW-User

Small stores cannot compete with prices but I use them when I can - They are Convenient and am important part of the local area.
