Whoever made it so that bathroom lightswitches are on the outside, never grew up with brothers

Switches on the outside used to be required by some electrical codes for safety reasons. Bathrooms never had electric outlets either.

@bostonspdo how did people shave without a out let to plug their shaver into in the bathroom????????

@trackboy There was a time before electric razors and hair dryers. I recently found some of my grandfather's straight razors. You could shave or slit your throat with those things.

@bostonspdo yikes straight razors! those are scary!! no way would i shave with them. i remember watching some cowboy gunfighter movie where the gun fighter had his gun aimed at the barber that was shaving him with straight razor so the barber would not slit his throat.
