Whoever made it so that bathroom lightswitches are on the outside, never grew up with brothers

@trackboy really ? hmm... we have it at home.. and in my friends homes its usually outside too

@RedFlower maybe the city building code there had it as the writer thought you might get shocked using light switch while standing in bath tub??? you looked at other houses in your city? houses in other cities?? could be just that one city or county put the light switch outside the bathroom in their building code. you could plug light into outlet in bathroom.

@trackboy united states here. you in Germany? building codes could be way different there. don't dad give the brothers the belt for turning the light off on you??

@trackboy i wouldnt rat my brothers out about that... tough luck for them if it was my dad in the bathroom and not me

@RedFlower get yourself a plug in black out light that comes on when the power goes out and has a photo sensor so you can set it to the charger position so it only comes on if the power is off if it is dark. or get a rechargeable flashlight and have that on in the bathroom. don't the bathroom have outlet in it?? you could plug a light into the out let.

@trackboy yeah i just bring my phone with me... better then reading the back of shampoo bottles too

@RedFlower rechargeable flash light would be a lot better. lot more light and would stay on longer too. keep it by your bed where you can grab it in the dark if the power goes out when your in bed. use phone to read shampoo bottle??? could get magnifying glass for that.
