Why is it OK to go to a beach wearing a bikini, but at the same time, going to great lengths to make sure nobody sees your panties or bra?

I never wore bikinis. I wore a one-piece suit for swimming. And that’s what it was designed for. Underwear is made differently and serves a different purpose.
