@SW-User It distributes a blaster bold throughout the body, so while a shot will hurt like hell...at most they'll simply be incapacitated.

@SW-User It's just cause ironically the Imperial military ethos dictates that soldiers should be left where they fall...so while these troops "can" be saved if given medical attention they're just left there until a medic finds them, instead of being carried to one.

So yes they still die...just slower, in a whole heap of pain.

They don't have medics in standard ranks, they have medical droids in their bases...but on the front lines?
