Imagine if the Egyptian love of “moon bathing” has cast forward into modern times , and pale was the true fetish , as sun bathing is now

In my opinion, pale should be the true fetish - pale skin looks better to me than any number of tanned hides. It grieves me how many beautifully pale complexions have been cured with horrid exposure.

It's a 20C phenomenon, arriving with the rising popularity of seaside holidays then pushed hard by commercial interests.

Until then a tanned complexion, especially for women, was looked down upon as a mark of the farm labourer, fisher or navvy.

I would have lines of men.....🤔
