I had a waitress toss the menus down on the table and walk off. She later spilled a glass of water on the table and into my lap, said "oops" and walked away.

Didn't just witness it, but experienced it. Happened at a Mexican restaurant in Seattle. Service with a snarl.

@nonsensiclesnail No, it was El Tapatio in north Seattle. Do they have bad service at Cactus?

@Rutterman I had one good experience there and one Horrible one. I've not been back to that particular location since. The horrible one being the one I mentioned in my post. The place was packed, it was during Seafair and I think my waitress just didn't give a damn about anything.

@nonsensiclesnail Ah, she likely was fed-up with the crowds and commotion due to Seafair. That said, there's no excuse for her unprofessional behavior.

At a cafe called Mama’s. Not sure whose “mama” it was, but she’d taught no one manners. There were inky, dirty finger prints on my plate with the food, when I asked the waitress about it she rolled her eyes, picked up the plate, wiped it with my napkin and then slammed it back down on the table in front of me.
