Does anyone know how to save gifs?

If I see a gif that I find pretty funny I like to save them and send them to my friends but a lot of the times when I do it , the gif doesn't work and just ends up being a still image. Is there a certain way you're supposed to save them or do some gifs just not work?

When you save a GIF (or MNG) it always saves all of the frames. Some image viewers only display the 1st frame in animated GIFs and MNGs. Try opening the ones you save using your web browser's File menu, or right-click on the file and click Open With... (depending on your device's operating system) and choose a web browser as the app to open them.

Alternately, there are free and paid image viewing apps which will fully display animated images. Search for "animated image viewers".
