Does anyone know how to save gifs?

If I see a gif that I find pretty funny I like to save them and send them to my friends but a lot of the times when I do it , the gif doesn't work and just ends up being a still image. Is there a certain way you're supposed to save them or do some gifs just not work?

Right click, save as and then you should see a little menu, there should be a drop down menu that says something like "save as type" make sure you have gif selected. Or copy and paste the gif link, but that could be slightly more tricky (in my experience anyway as in gif websites you need to copy a particular link for that to work). 😁✨ - this is if you are using a computer though.
