Have you ever heard anyone ever say their date of birth and the say Anno Domini?

I heard an old man say it at a hospital clinic yesterday where I was having a check up. I thought it the funniest thing! Like anyone would think he had been born 4000 years ago BC. He did look old though so I guess he was practicing self deprecating dry humour. If so cracked me up!

Thank you for the giggle. When I was in Catholic school as a child we wrote AD after the date.
