A very respectable acceptance speech Mrs. Noodles. I couldn't help noticing you didn't mention God. I guess God doesn't get the credit he once did. I can't recall a single acceptance speech in the 80's that didn't include, if not started off with thanking God. I was happy beyond belief to see my name though. thank you, thank you , thank you.

@SW-User To credit God, would be a bit hypocritical of me. My speech was based on the thank you speeches from Miss World. Did they mention God, I only ever remember old people, children and charity work.

@pennynoodles I think you're probably right. I was thinking of the music awards in the 80's. God was definitely prevalent in those days.

They always wish for World Peace, right?
