Apparently, we (British people) have been pronouncing lidl wrong.

I was like why does it sound like you're yodelling? Turns out she was saying lidl.
The rest of the world (to my knowledge) pronounces it "leedul"

I'm gonna go back home and preach the word

@V00doo me too. I've only ever heard that pronunciation in the UK so when I asked around and heard people from 3 different countries say otherwise I felt like I was stuck in some alternative reality.

Also, Google confirmed they were right.
