I deliberately avoid psychoanalysing everyone because I'm a human and need to live in the present moment, not in the minds of everyone else.

That and people find it annoying and aren't receptive when it's uninvited. Understandably.

That being said I find it hilarious when my family and irl friends ask for my input and I don't hold back. Got them staring back at me like

I have always assumed anyone trained wouldn't out of respect for those around them. But I do think people want to always hear nice things do it usually hurts if there's a criticism even if minor in the grand scheme of things.

But I welcome feedback, especially if it'll help me to be a better person.

@Mellowgirl yeah, exactly. You wouldn't have a police officer accusing someone of being a criminal based on patterns observed before. There's a process to psychoanalysing someone for a reason.

That's why I don't think therapy is a one size fits all, 1) you have to be ready for it, otherwise it's just more skewed words only this time by someone you don't know personally and 2) you have to have a good relationship with your therapist

Without the two, you're not really looking for any changes, just a place to vent. Which is also fine if that's how you wanna use the space but it's good to be aware of your reasons.
