what do you do when you're angry because you cannot think of clever replies to someone's comment

[c=BF0080]i at times get this problem online, someone answers my post disagreeing with or undermining my points...and i can't think of a clever response on the spur of the moment? and i feel so angry as i want to get the better of that person and comeback with clever replies....but my mind goes blank, and i see red mist with anger.

what can you do when you encounter this problem?[/c]

I quit getting involved in online arguments some time ago because all they did was annoy and frustrate me, and it is impossible to get your point across to someone who refuses to entertain it, so why bother? In the past, however, if I was too angry or frustrated to write a good response, I would leave it alone until I had calmed down and had time to think about what I wanted to write (though I was more focused on creating a factual argument rather than clever or witty retorts, as I wanted to drive my point across more than to have it be lost in a battle of snark). Nowadays though, I much prefer to keep pleasant, civil discussions and tend to not reply to obvious trolls or people trying to be hateful for no reason.
