@SomeMichGuy Yeah it's supposed to start Friday and end sometime on Sunday.... we're travelling on Sunday so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's not a big mess. 😬

@Lilymoon Do you get to use roads which are actually treated for ice, etc.?

The guy I know near Calgary says most roads there--outside Calgary, including his area) are never treated or scraped/cleared...so he drives on ice a lot.

@SomeMichGuy yeah they are usually out before dawn clearing the roads....

@Lilymoon He does a lot of driving longer distances where there isn't much between places, but I can't imagine having mostly of ice.

You do know that, in Alberta, the kids travel game of spotting things only has wheat and flat, right?

@Lilymoon You *do* know that those places are made up just to hide how empty the plains are, right? Most of the photos & vids are stock footage. The rest is shot a few weeks of the year with extras, and some is shot elsewhere.
