Predictable.

They ruin our efforts everywhere. Try to hop into any cause and hijack it to justify their bigotry.

When it matters most, most rightists will close their mouths and refuse to take in ex muslims refugees into their country. Even those who worked with them against Sadam and were targeted were refused access and none of them took them in. Many had to cross into europe illegally.

The guy who thought he can use my space as an opportunity to market his bigoted views was the old underwear sniffer

He thought I am Arab because I used arabic, then tried to argue about how jews are better than Muslims. I think he didn't realize that I am actually a jew. Grandmother was jewish ethnically from Turkey.

Politics nuts are very close minded and can't grasp that we can be of any ethnicity and disagree with their extreme stances. Simply because at the very core we have the same humanitarian values. Muslims can be facing very much the same challenges as ex muslims just by changing the context.

He has a thing for colonialism. I guess it is suprising to them that an exmuslim would be anti that. And it was kinda of funny, I am Algerian. Of course I would be anti foriegn interventions and invasions.

He is leftist but let's be honest here. They are ultimately many times one and the same.

@Miram i dont disagree with most of this, but to be fair, i know a lot of 'left' wingers who are way more racist and bigoted than the 'right'.
Sometimes i think the politization of important issues get twisted into bigotry and hatred by people who want to divide for personal gain, And those people are on both sides.
Thats why i am very suspicious of the recent trend of trying classify everyone and everything into their own little box that highlights how we are different. The only way we can move forward is by holding onto the things that make us similar.

Not sure about more racist but I have seen their racism too and bigotry.

Except for a very few.

@Miram I just meant that the right and the left both claim a moral superiority and overlook their own bigotry.
